What is The Airship about?
Montevideo is too far of a place, where you can't lie and there's always someone waiting for me. A French woman arrives in Montevideo, to meet poet Juan Carlos Onetti and investigate the story of the city. She is intrigued by the photograph of the day when president Bordaz was killed and a zeppelin flew above the city at the turn of the century. She is helped by a photographer and both fall into a police intrigue. It blends drama, history, crime elements. The film reflects a distinct Cuba style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Pablo Dotta. With a runtime of 1h 20m, it offers a concise viewing experience.
