What is Chandra about?
Continuing the story of Midian, five years after Abner Able's family defects to Government B. Young Chandra Able, chooses to follow in her father's footsteps as a dedicated combatant, in a Modern US Civil War that has spanned a decade. This time, the battle is fought on the ground as Chandra is recruited into a controversial program for jocky-sized teenage girls, that employs a mysterious, high-tech integration between human and machine. How far this integration goes, is classified, but the results are devastating to any who oppose this new four-legged battalion, on the battlefield. After rigorous training and brainwashing, Chandra is sent out on her first mission, to take down a ruthless adversary, known for killing wounded soldiers. Within minutes of Chandra's deployment, her battalion is decimated and she is left mortally wounded, with few options to make it back alive. It blends science fiction, action, thriller elements. The story is brought to life by director Reuben James Steindorf.
