What is Eikō about?
When a tabloid television station reveals a superhero film star is gay, the young actor is confronted not only with the reaction of the fans but also with his own concerns. The macho nature of his film alter ego complicates the entire situation even more and the struggle with homophobia in a heteronormative entertainment industry is not easy at all. It blends animation elements. The film reflects a distinct France style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Colin Atthar. With a runtime of 14 minutes, it offers a concise viewing experience.
