Across the sea, toward a place to dream. Sekou, a young migrant who arrived in Italy after crossing the Mediterranean, is welcomed into La Casa di Abou Diabo, a centre for unaccompanied foreign minors in Acri, Calabria. His arrival offers a glimpse into the everyday life of a place shared and inhabited by other young people. Through music, laughter, and time spent together, the daily life of the centre gradually unfolds. The voices of its young residents guide the story, between memories, hopes, and dreams for the future. It blends documentary elements. The film reflects a distinct Italy style and perspective. The story is brought to life by directors Manuel Cundari and Eugenio Piluso.
The main cast includes Sekou Condé, Cherif Bachir and Lacina Bamba. Behind the camera, the film is directed by Manuel Cundari and Eugenio Piluso, written by Manuel Cundari and Eugenio Piluso, produced by Manuel Cundari.
