What is L.C.D.B. - El documental about?
In the geographical center of Buenos Aires, a group of friends establish a self-managed space free of prejudices under the premise of the Buenos Aires Anti-fascist Action and the SHARP (Skin-Heads Against Racial Prejudice) culture, called La Cultura del Barrio (LCDB). La Cultura gathers all street cultures and promote various aspects of counter-cultural music, literature and other arts. Within this context, they open a boxing school as well, proposing another form of playing sports in response to a selfish, racist and homophobic system. LCDB thus becomes the first and only anti-fascist sports and social club in Latin America. It blends documentary elements. The film reflects a distinct Argentina style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Gastón Marin. With a runtime of 1h 26m, it offers a concise viewing experience.
