Notes Lyonnaises I (October 29, 2002 to November 2, 2006) is the first of the four episodes of the Filmed Carnets that the filmmaker shot on the sidelines of Lyon, autopsie d’une grande ville. These Notebooks are essentially composed of unpreserved shots and notes filmed according to the filmmaker's wanderings in the city where cinema was invented by the Lumière brothers. The story is brought to life by director Gérard Courant. With a runtime of 2h 12m, it offers a comfortable feature-length experience.
