What is Star Trek: Insurrection about?
The battle for paradise has begun. When an alien race and factions within Starfleet attempt to take over a planet that has "regenerative" properties, it falls upon Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise to defend the planet's people as well as the very ideals upon which the Federation itself was founded. It blends science fiction, action, adventure elements. The film reflects a distinct United States of America style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Jonathan Frakes. With a runtime of 1h 43m, it offers a comfortable feature-length experience.
