What is Vortex about?
A corridor of an apartment is transformed into a claustrophobic and vertiginous vortex that swallows and imprisons you in an infinite fall through a mise en abyme: it’s a pure enclosure inside the image world, it’s the Descent into the Maelstrom. It blends animation elements. The film reflects a distinct Portugal style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Alexandre Alagôa. With a runtime of 9 minutes, it offers a concise viewing experience.
