What is Wurst about?
A sculptor dares to do the unthinkable: she combines Thuringian bratwurst and Weimar Classicism in a golden sculpture. Intended as a prize for the Thuringian Film Award, it sparks controversy about art and power—and becomes a symbol of a society caught between tradition, vanity, and political turmoil. It blends comedy elements. The film reflects a distinct Germany style and perspective. The story is brought to life by director Valentina Schütz. With a runtime of 15 minutes, it offers a concise viewing experience.
